Riello error codes
The most common codes for Riello oil burners, with what they mean and what to do.
Riello burners have no display: when the burner locks out, the light in the reset button comes on or flashes. Riello asks not to reset it more than twice in a row.
No flame at start-up: the burner has locked out. Most often: out of oil, dirty flame sensor, faulty valve or ignition.
Heating oilCheck there's still oil in the tank and that the supply valve is open. Reset the burner once: if it locks out again, don't keep trying; call us.
The oil preheating didn't finish within 10 minutes: faulty preheater.
TechnicianA component or electronics fault: this needs a technician. Don't open the boiler; call us and give the code shown.
This code isn't in the list: call us and give it to us, we'll tell you straight away what's going on.
